Be a recognized leader in agribusiness and business development consulting and in effective delivery of education, mentorship, outreach training, and technical assistance programs and services for secondary and post-secondary students, inner city youths, farm managers and rural entrepreneurs in the U.S.
OUR MOTTO
Umunthu is our motto, the guiding principle and key cornerstone of the Institute. The term “Umunthu” (pronounced: woo-moon-too) really emphasizes the principle that a person is a person because of other people; you are who you are because of how you relate to others around you. In Malawi, the term "Umunthu" comes from Chichewa, a vernacular language, meaning “Humanity to Others” and it primarily focuses on people’s allegiances and relations with each other.
